Outside Linebackers
6 *Myles Jack 2 UCLA Jr 6010 245 1

(Some list as ILB)..."Electrifying but not a stack and shed guy" (according to PFDG). One of the most exciting and versatile players in the country as a freshman; continued high level of play as a soph....Elite athlete...compact build/well-muscled...could switch to RB and still be considered an early-round draft pick..light-footed, fluid with natural ball skills....combines, elite speed and agility with awareness in coverage...Projects to OLB in a 4-3 scheme...burst and agility make him suited as a very good pass rusher (though he is not elite in this dept. as of now)......not an explosive hitter but not afraid to hit somebody....breaks down well and wraps...but lacks ideal length for the position...can get caught up in the trash...durability (meniscus) a concern but still considered a Top 15 pick. Rang considers him a future Pro Bowler....ESPN feels that, if he can return healthy, his high ceiling should place him in the Top 50... "...not a top point of attack player...would rather elude a block than stack at the line...plays in coverage like a DB...best position might be as a WILL in a 4-3..Some clubs might even want to line him up as a strong safety..." - PFW (Gabriel).

4 *Darron Lee 1 Ohio State rSo 6010 232 1

Brugler describes him as a "fantastic athlete with long arms and aggressive hands"....Former HS QB..Started at safety for Buckeyes...took over for Shazier in his red shirt year....played "walkout LB (covered, blitzed and play in space)...above average speed, range and athletic skill..."unlocks hip to accelerate and close."..Smooth athlete ("Glider")...can make himself skinny through the gaps but must be more consistent doing this...violent hand punch....explosive tackler...football-smart/quick to diagnose...very good vs. the run, but could hit with more thump at POA...PFDG describes as "a weakside-only LB who needs to be covered up."...can turn and run in coverage....working on bulk and strength. Best suited on weak side...Not adept at shedding blocks...High character linebacker who plays with swag....versatile (can blitz, cover and stop the run)...ESPN says he's "developed into a smart player."...Durable...Special teams contributor...Leaner torso than ideal....can be engulfed by OL's...can be too aggressive and overrun tackles and eliminate dumb penalties...still a bit raw at position and needs to get stronger... "...will have to learn how to play inside and stack and shed at the line of scrimmage...great upside..." - PFW (Gabriel).

62 *Leonard Floyd 8 Georgia rJr 6055 244 1

(Another OLB listed by some draft books as an ILB)...Write ups suggest a pass rushing specialist with some possible durability questions...Long and versatile (can play on or off the lDL...Projected as having potential as a weaksider only...Spent last year working on coverage...Numbers may be inflated due to Georgia's edge-rusher friendly schemes and stats....Surprising hand power; good burst off the edge....relentless motor...good instincts...stronger than he looks...nice range....some explosion at POA...but primary value seems to be as a pass rusher...shoulder injury in 2014, but if he totally recovers will figure to rank among the elite pass rushers in the SEC... "...Will get drafted high because of his athleticism, but unless used properly, he will struggle in the NFL..." - PFW (Gabriel).

Pro Day (Brandt) - "Floyd had a 35-inch vertical jump. He did the 20-yard short shuttle in 4.32 seconds and the three-cone drill in 7.18 seconds, which are very good numbers. Unfortunately,, Floyd couldn't complete his worlkout because he was suffering from food poisoning.

47 *Jaylon Smith 7 Notre Dame Jr 6020 223 1-2

(Injured his ACL and MCL near the end of 2015....Would have been in the Top 5 (maybe even the Top One in the nation had he not been injured)...Brian Kelly describes as the best he's ever coached....freakish athlete who makes plays no on else can make....ND's top tackler in 2014...recognized for instincts, range and competitive fire...."greased up athlete with natural twitch and flexibility, showing balance, burst and excellent speed." - Brugler and Rang....When healthy, he's a force against the run and very good in coverage...Reads plays quickly...excellent closer...terrific recovery speed...arguably the most powerful tackler in the nation...as fast as he is powerful...can hold his ground, rush the passer or drop into coverage....better pass rusher than his numbers might imply...more of a drag down tackler than a thumper...sideline to sideline range...may lack a degree of strength for the position...May have maxed out his frame...may struggle setting the edge...A 3-down backer who is as versatile and pro-ready as you'll find in the nation... "...Before his injury, he would have been a top five to eight selection. There is no telling where he will go now...until more is known...he will be a wild card-type selection..." - PFW (Gabriel).

759 *Noah Spence 9 Eastern Kentucky rJr 6024 251 1-2

.(Listed as a DE by CBS)....High upside but major character concerns...(Next "Honey Badger?" or just one more "great pretender")...Much heralded on entering Ohio State, but a series of drug busts and admitted addiction to Ecstacy caused him to be banned in the Big 10 and he ended up at EKU....Spent one year cleaning up his act and rebuilding his off-the-field image and posted impressive enough numbers to convince him to forgo his final college season...Pass rush specialist with trademark burst and agility....strong at POA...Explosive off the edge....Quick, explosive and agile with deadly dip to flatten to the QB. Very competitive (talked a lot of trash at Senior Bowl practices - considered more a positive than negative by coaches)....can play DE or LB; comfortable dropping into coverage....lacks great closing burst & not a deluxe hitter....lacks one on one coverage skills...Snap discipline, anticipation. hand usage, instincts, coverage skills and functional strength represent areas that could stand improvement - that plus his drug issues... "...has high first round talent, but where he gets drafted will depend on how clubs feel about the character issues." - PFW (Gabriel).

Forty: 4.80....VJ: 35.0...BJ: 10-1...3C: ...SS: ...

11 Joshua Perry 3 Ohio State Sr 6036 254 2

Effort guy...Overshadowed by other Buckeye elite players...ILB? Or OLB?....Unsung hero....Played ILB for Buckeyes...Most noticeable attribute is his non-stop motor....makes stops other LB's can't...strong handed; finishes tackles; refuses to be stopped....more steady than explosive...plays with solid fundamentals...consummate teammate and leader....a bit stiff in coverage....can occasionally be overaggressive and take himself out of plays... PFW (lists as ILB): ... can't cover quick backs or tight ends man-to-man...He has upside but his lack of speed will prevent him from getting drafted in the premium rounds." - (Gabriel).

Forty: 4.68....VJ: ...BJ: ...3C: 7.21...SS: 4.35...

91 Kyler Fackrell 11 Utah State rSr 6050 245 2

(Serious knee injury as junior)....Long and fluid edge-bender...adept at dropping into coverage...hand-usage a bit raw...Mature...blue collar....versatile with good measurables - Tall, loose frame...worked hard to become stronger...long strider...good lateral quickness....active rusher with good diagnostic skills....looks natural in coverage....natural ball skills....special teams experience....football junkie and defensive leader...humble but feisty and combative....not dominant at POA...plays a bit tall..Not a power player - .needs to develop functional strength...more a floater than an exploder but has above average intangibles and versatility. The knee = the 800 lb gorilla in the draft room.... "...has pass rush talent and shows speed and burst off the edge...missed almost all of 2014 with a torn ACL...arms are a bit short...Has the competiive nature and football character to succeed at the next level." - PFW (Gabriel)...

Forty: 4.72....VJ: 34.5...BJ: 10.1..3C: ...SS: ...

38 *Su'a Cravens 6 Southern California Jr 6000 226 2-3

(Bucannon type (ESPN lists as a safety)... Playmaker with terrific ball skills , but will need to be more consistent holding up the back....Described as a safety/LB tweener...Good in coverage with the range, suddeness and hip-explosion to thump...Versatile and instinctive...gained size and strengthi in 2nd season....moved to hybrid safety/LB...long limbed, tapered frame and fluid agility....best vs. run with excellent recognition and terrific closing speed....plays without fear (will stick his head in there regardless of who what when or where. Aware in pass defense - impressive route recognition and natural hands...can get a bit overaggressive and play out of control...will occasionally steal a peek at the QB in pass defense....Reminds ESPN scout of Landon Collins.... "...with some teams like Arizona, looking for that hybrid linebacker, he would be a great fit for them...he will be a wild card type selection in this draft...some teams will have him very hogh on their boards; others will have him rated lower." - PFW (Gabriel).

Forty: DNR....VJ: 27.0...BJ: 9.6...3C: ...SS: ...

14 Deion Jones 4 LSU Sr 6007 222 3

Undersized late bloomer flying beneath many radars....weakside upside...highly active and instinctive LB with 3-down range...above average read 'n react skills (trusts what he sees)....decisive and smooth in coverage....can stick with TE's and even play a little CB...Lacks any obvious flaws and is considered one of the smartest players on his team....vocal/lines up teammates...but kinda light (write up reminds me of a Buccannon-type hybrid coming from the opposite positional direction). "Arrow is pointing north" - Brugler.... "Has good instincts, reacts quickly and is around the ball...His lack of size/strength hurt him...I don't see Jones as a potential starter." - PFW (Gabriel).

Pro Day (Brandt) - Jones ran the 40-yard dash in 4.38 and 4.42 seconds (he'd posted the fourth fastest 40 among linebackers).at the Combine. 18 reps of 225 pounds on the bench press. Jones had an off-the-charts workout. He was really smooth and quick in his positional drills, only slipped a couple of times possibly due to not having on the proper shoes.

Forty: 4.38....BP: 18...VJ:33.0 ...BJ: 10-0...3C: ...SS: ...

81 Jordan Jenkins 10 Georgia Sr 6025 259 3-4

Strong, high-motor edge-setter...Lunch pail work ethic/character player with weener frame with strength at POA...Lined up at "JACK" linebacker for Bulldogs...more of a one-speed, one-direction thumper...Team captain...played DE as well as LB...Sets hard edge...heavy-handed at POA...power to create a pile with balance to string out plays wide....flexible and limber as a rusher...productive but not twitchy or elite pass rusher...can get up field with quick burst....best attacking the pocket...sometimes tends to play too high...tough guy...run-game manhandler and edge-setter... "...doesn''t have the experience in pass coverage to play as an outside linebacker. He can play right end in some 4-3 schemes." - PFW (Gabriel).

Pro Day (Brandt) - "Jenkins  ran the 40 in 4.8 and 4.77 seconds. He had a 38-inch vertical and 10-foot-3 broad jump. He did the short shuttle in 4.32 seconds and the three-cone drill in 7.41 seconds. Jenkins had a really good pro day workout and helped his draft status.

.18 *Kamalei Correa 5 Boise State Jr 6030 243 3-4

(Worked out with DL's at combine)...PFDG describes as a "pure pass rusher"..Raw in space....Capturing a lot of love from Cardinal Nation and getting late look from the scouts...Edge rushing his forte - sudden, fast, good finishing burst.....quick first step...needs to work on hand-technique and ball skills...but has the versatility to attack the passer, hold his own in coverage and set the edge vs. the run...
