Robert Nkemdiche DT 6035 296 Ole Miss Film clip aired after he was drafted was impressive...quick first step...blows up offensive plays - often beats the ball back to the handoff...hard charging with very low COG...When he's moving at 100 mph, he looks like he's moving at 100 mph. At issue is the consistency of that motor. I'm concerned about the off-field issues (i.e. nothing wrong with giving a guy a second chance, but the extent, frequency and weirdness of previous behavior does infer significant risk. (Never forget, the concept of risk is that there is a downside that odds-wise balances an upside. We expect BA and SK have taken a good look at the Nkemdiche's unique situation and will manage it effectively. I get chills thinking about Nkemdiche's upside but am more than a little nervous worrying about his downside. Physically the top rated DT on some boards, but brings a boom or bust element to the table...PFDG calls to question his character...production...motor and work ethic...Disruptive penetrator type with outstanding quickness and first step...Needs to reconcile potential with production...Started out a DE....added weight and moved to DT...Figures to be compared with Leonard Williams...above average athlete for size....good COD and lower body fluidity...can push the pile with brute strength or penetrate into the backfield...suspension for weed part of resume... "...motor is not consistently revved...He flashes dominating ability, just not consistently...off-field issues must be looked at closely..." - PFW (Gabriel) "Thick in right places. Excellent triangle numbers...incredibly strong lower body...maintains power in space and will deliver violent blows to the ballcarrier...Lack of production for his talent level is disturbing...Talent-wise, he is as good as it gets...Elite talent but but questions off the field are something to note..suspended at the end of his 2015 season for possession of marijuana and has some other off-the-field concerns..." - Athlon
