Tackle DataBase
5 Jonah Williams - OT x Alabama 6044 302 xx

"... Williams is a technician with the combination of balance, body control and hand skills to emerge as a perennial Pro Bowler on the edge. He moves defenders off the ball in the running game while also flashing the athleticism and strength to build a wall around the quarterback in pass protection- B Brooks - ( Rates #2)

Experience at LT and RT...Never missed a game...Dominant run and pass blocker...Sets quick in pass pro...Plays a physical game...No apparent weaknesses...5-star HS recruit....Easily cuts off wide speed and anchors...Better player than McGlinchey...Should be a Top 5 pick - PFW

Self-motivated student of the game...Long & strong...Film junkie...Would probably be moved to LT after a year or so...Might not possess elite length (???) and agilitybut he's savvy and tough...Extremely quick off the snap....Low stance, solid footwork and sound technique...leader in the trenches...Got notably bulldozed on one play by Clemson's Cleland Ferrell...Aggressiveness can be borderline wild... leading to sloppy mechanics...Needs to add 10 - 15 lbs... (unubstantiated) rumors that he's "soft....Comp: Jake Matthews - Lindy's

Not a prototype blindside protector...Could survive on a team that wants to play power football...Ceiling is higher as a guard - Excellent pulling as lead-blocker...will consistently generate movement at POA...Lack of length could lead to a move inside - Athlon

Elite technique fundamentals and work-ethic...Has all the tools to compliment his athletism and size - USA Today

Forty: 5.12...Ten: 1.77...BP: 23 ...3C: 8.01...VJ: 28.0...BJ: 8'4...Hand: 10.1...Arm: 33.6....

6 Yodny Cajuste - OT x West Virginia 6047 302 xx

One of the better athletes at the tackle positions...easily adjusts on the move...2 injuries...Will need some work in the run game, coming from a pass-first college pgm...Could be one of the first tackles selected due to excellent athletic traits - PFW

One of the most athletic lineman in this year's draft...Strong...Just one year of HS football...Elite pass blocking traits...High-effort player (Benches 495 lbs/dead-lifts 735 lbs)...One of the best 10-yd splits in the draft...anxious feet in pass pro....Can be a bit late gettig out on screens...Foot and knee injury history...Most appealing asset is his upside - Lindy's

Seems to be the total package physically...Better in the run game generating push at POA...Plays with nasty disposition...Flashes in pass pro - but a mixed bag: inconsistent mechanics, sloppy footwork and poor hand placement..Medical concerns (knee)....A quality starter but hard to trust early in career...a move inside to guard ight be advisable - Athlon

Forty: DNP...Ten: DNP...BP: 32 ...3C: DNP...VJ: DNP....BJ: DNP...Hand: .10.0...Arm: 34....

7 Jawaan Taylor - OT x Florida 6050 312 xx

Naturally strong...stays on his feet...comes off the ball quickly...stays low and shows power...quick st in pass pro...quick feet...Natural bender...Great size, natural strength and durability bu not very exposive...soft body...knock-kneed...a bit too heavy...Raw...already a solid player who should continue to improve - PFW

"... Taylor is a "people mover" with excellent strength, power and athleticism. He is capable of climbing to the second level on combo blocks and uses that same athleticism to snuff out pass rushers on the edge. . - B Brooks - ( Rates #1)

Might be better suited as an OG...Stick and move skills are special for size...Not an elite athlete by any means but technique-soundness allows him to execute the necessary moves...Plays with infectious energy but will sometimes take the foot off the pedal...Must keep his weight in check...somewhat sluggish feet..Comp: Joe Barksdale - Lindy's

Massive RT...Light on his feet...best in the run game...still a bit raw...Can overset at times and be susceptible to inside counters...Has natural tools and potential to kick inside - Athlon

Allowed just one sack on 364 pass block attempts...Rliable in pass pro/ gritty as a run blocker...Unique combo of size, strength, agility - USA Today

Forty: DNP...Ten: DNP...BP: 24 ...3C:DNP...VJ: DNP....BJ: DNP...Hand: 10...Arm: 35.1....

8 Gregory Little - OT x Ole Miss 6052 310 xx

Keep an eye on him due to HS history protecting K Murray along with physical style of play - Gollin

Exceptional size...good to very good athlete for size....Very long arms...strong and powerful...slides and recovers really well...But intensity level seems to be lacking....Run blocking not up to par....Highly talented, but seems to be just going thru the motions. - PFW

Played in all 36 games at Ole Miss...Former 5-Star HS recruit who was protector of Kyler Murray...Worth a first round pick...Prototypical size and strength with a nice wide stance and solid footwork...Physical player...can handle counter-moves in pass pro...can go one-on-one off the edge with just about anyone...Limited bend and flexibility...footwork can use further improvement...a bit high cut...weight may need monitoring...Comp: Duane Brown - Lindy's

5-star recruit but never got it completely together...Prototypical blend of length, girth and athleticism....Inconsistent hands...trouble with handling speed to power...seems mechanical...enters the league with some flaws and could project as swing tackle - Athlon

Forty: 5.33...Ten: 1.84...BP: DNP...3C: DNP...VJ: 25.0...BJ: 9'5...Hand: 10.2...Arm: 35.2....

2 David Edwards - OT x Wisconsin 6062 308 xx

Big and strong...Good run and pass blocker in Wisc scheme...Former QB...Missed 3 games due to arm injury...Raw...not a natural bender....More upside than Havenstein but not as good coming out - PFW.

Former TE...Hard-nosed, gritty Wisconsin lineman...Exceptional run blocker...Combo of size, length, power and agility...After his sophomore year, he received very favorable comments by the NFL Draft Advisory Board but still returned to school for another year.......Bulked up 75 lbs while maintaining his agility...Left shoulder/arm injury...Can play too tall at times...Needs to work on pass pro techniques...Chop block tehniques not his forte - Lindy's

HS quarterback...more than enough length...nimble feet...could play in outside zone shemes...still raw...sloppy footbawork (lunger)...more comfortable moving forward than backward....developmental project who may need a year - Athlon

Forty: 5.28...Ten: 1.8...BP: DNP ...3C: 7.69...VJ: 25.5...BJ: 8'3...Hand: 9.8...Arm: 33.3....

1 Andre Dillard - OT x Washington State 6050 315 xx

"... Dillard is arguably the best pass protector in the class, with quick feet and a refined game. He neutralizes pass rushers with a variety of quick-set maneuvers and kick-slide techniques that are advanced for this stage of his career. Although he needs some work as a run blocker, Dillard's strengths in pass protection could vault him up the charts.- B Brooks - ( Rates #3)

Very good athlete for position...Natural bender...Good run blocker...needs to add bulk (especially lower-body)...At times gives too much ground to bull rushers...Very good mirror skills...Should be a rookie starter with a bright future - PFW

Didn't play football till 8th grade...Arrived weighing 240 lbs...Since the beginning of his Sophomore year, he started 39 straight games...Better in pass pro than as a run blocker..Experience, athletiism and wide frame should serve him well...Had solid Senior Bowl and could move up the charts...Knee-bender and outstanding in pass pro...A bit predictable ("robotic") and stiff in the hips...will need to continue bulking up - Lindy's

Most athletic OL and best pure pass blocker in this draft...Incredibly light on his feet...Precise and quick with hands...Underpowered (lacks brute force)....Doesn't play with enough nastiness...Lacks power...should appeal to finesse teams seeking a mobile run blocker - Athlon

Most athletic and best pass blocking takle in this year's class...Had an118 BJ at the Combine - USA Today

Forty: 4.96...Ten: 1.69...BP: 24 ...3C: 7.44...VJ: 29.0...BJ: 9'10...Hand: 10.0...Arm: 33.5....

10 Max Scharping - OT x Northern Illinois 6057 327 xx

Experience both on left and right side...More than 50 career starts....Very good size with really good strength and pop...Tough physical and competitive...Plays at lower level of competition...not very explosive coming off the ball...a bit raw...has the agikity to play on the left side... - PFW

Versatile...Takes advantage of his school's balanced attack...Speed seemed questionable during Senior Bowl week...Sound technique including excellent hand-use...Played both OT positions...Too often late off the snap...must play lower and improve footwork - Lindy's

Sturdy RT prospect...Will play thru the whistle and finish plays...Had 3.99 GPA...Lacks top-edge atleticism...Lacks NFL-level range...He'll make it as a pro - whether as a low-end starter or backup - Athlon

Forty: DNP...Ten: DNP...BP: 27 ...3C: 7.77...VJ: 28.0...BJ: 9'0...Hand: 10.0...Arm: 33.6....

3 Kaleb McGary - OT x Washington 6071 317 xx

Strong points are natural size, strength and power...seldom off his feet...Strong punch...Very consistent and durable but not a nifty athlete...Might be better off as an OG...Pro coaches will like him. - PFW

Impressive during Senior Bowl week...A mammoth imposing presence who uses brute strength to overpower his opponents... Tremendous agility (35" VJ - note: we show 33.5)...Long. strong power bocker...Needs to work on hand placement...Comp: Andrew Whitworth - Lindy's

Massive RT with long arms and well-proportioned frame...Moves well for size...Makes up in size for lack of elite athleticism...good in run game/consistently finishes blocks...Not a LT prospect but projects as quality starting RT = Athlon

Forty: 5.05...Ten: 1.83...BP: 23 ...3C: 7.66...VJ: 33.5...BJ: 9'3...Hand: 10.1...Arm: 32.8....

9 Mitch Hyatt - OT x Clemson 6053 303 xx

Very durable roock-solid college lineman who is equally proficient vs. pass or run....Not very athletic...Lacks an NFL build (more like a guard than tackle)...Projects as a NFL starter (with time) - PFW

More of a finesse blocker who could use 10 pounds or so more bulk...Highly athletic OT who excels in pass pro...Impressive speed for size...Sound sidekick...great bend...offers few surprises...can be completely manhandled by bigger defenders...can be slow to the spot...Needs to finish better...must become a better chop-blocker...good bloodlines (Dan Benish) - Lindy's

One of the most impressive careers of any college lineman...Good movement skills and innate undrstanding of the run game....Heady technician....Can mirror quickness in pass pro...Short arms/ lack of length...blockers get into his chest...Could eventually start in a finesse offense, but finding a spot for him will be a challenge - Athlon

Forty: DNP...Ten: ...BP: 28 ...3C: 7.72...VJ: 25.5...BJ: 8'6...Hand: 10.2...Arm: 34.1....

3 Cody Ford OT x Oklahoma 6036 329 xx

(#1 rating as a guard)...Great size, length and natural strength...stays on his feet...good run blocker...Patient in pass pro...durability a concern...not a great puller...will play too high...Migh be a tad short for a tackle...Has short-area quicks...Most flaws correctable with coaching...Might project either a RT or OG. - PFW

(Rated #1 as a guard)...Massive big-bodied mauler who combines fluid feet, pure brute strenght, andf exceptional athleticism for size...Lack of height could force him to move back inside...Praised for strong work-ethic and consistent effort....Excellent combo of size strength agility and footwork...Dropped 10 - 15 lbs to make move to RT...Lacks a wealth of experience...Issues vs. speed rushers might force him to play inside...Comp: Dion Dawkins - Lindy's

Feett are impossibly light and nimble...at his best blocking on the move as a run blocker...nasty finisher...Lack of length is problematic...needs to make better use of hands...Doesn't generate ideal push...Not a prototypical LT, but can hold his own as a RT....Floor is as a starting OG...a big upgrade for a rushing attack - Athlon

Allowed one sack in 441 pass blocking snaps...A mauler in the run game with a huge wingspan...light on his feet - USA Today

Forty: 5.21...Ten: 1.81...BP: 19 ...3C: 8.27...VJ: 28.5...BJ: 8'8...Hand: 9.8...Arm: 34.0
