                    2012 DraftALL-NAME TEAM
 |
            |

					| Any diehard fan following a
sport since childhood will tell you that "names have magic"
					- Since Sonny Grandelius roamed the gridiron for the
Brooklyn Football Dodgers and WR Louis Lipps and running
back I.M. Hipp graced Buchsbaum's and Kiper's draft boards,
players' names have carried with them a certain romance and
poetry. To select this year's All-Name class, we asked the
following question: "If you were writing a novel or
screen-play about football, who would you call on from
					Central Casting?" (& vice versa)?
(Notes - The "Bubbas", "Jim Bobs"
					and
"Cody's are pretty much a thing of the past, but the
growing diversity in our country reflects an explosion of
exotic names from the African continent to the South Sea
					Islands. I
hope no one will take offense in my "no name" selections -
think of them as "challenges" to be overcome by being
					extra-competitive on the football field.
