Centers
52 Ryan Kelly 1 Alabama rSr 6040 311 1-2

Fan favorite in some circles...."Glue of the Alabama offensive line." - Rang and Brugler....Field smsrts and tangibles will help him overcome physiical limitatioms...Gritty with good communication skills...Strong and smart....quick off snap...has allowed zero sacks over past 2 years....very athletic..Tough and aggressive/sound technician but not athletically elite....unimpressive frame...durability concerns....top center prospect in this class...rated second day prospect and long-term starter in the pros...but probably lacks Pro Bowl potential..."...smart and alert...seldom misses seeing a stunt or a blitz...very consistent pass blocker...should start early for a team with a need...while he won't be a Pro Bowl type, he will be a solid starter." - PFW (Gabriel).

Forty: 5.03...BP: 26...BJ: 8-7...3C: 7.58...SS: 4.59...

71 Jack Allen 2 Michigan State rSr 6010 294 2-3

Another smart, "character guy" who gets the most out of his ability...Stout build with low COG..."understands that 'low man wins.'"....Wins with effort and technique more than sheer athleticism...smart, tenacious, well-schooled in techniques....excellent body control...good hand usage....can play left guard....but has short arms...undersized frame that can be uprooted...a bit grabby...will lunge too often...lacks athletic range re pulling and gettlng to 2nd level....durability concerns (ankle)...workmanlike center who plays better than he looks.....

Forty: 5.29...BP: 23...BJ: 8-5..3C: 7.90...SS: 4.73...

120+ Max Tuerk 9 Southern California Sr 6050 298 3-4

Eilte athleticism and movement skills. Injury red flag...Cameron Irving type pick...has combo of long arms, trim waist and nimble feet...played best inside at center....But he tore an ACL ub Ict....If fully recovered, he could turn out to be quite a steal....Phone booth lineman who is best in zone run schemes...Looks more like a LT or TE...does well in short areas....excellent flexibility and knee-bend...flexible joints (up until his injury)...rare quicks and agility for OC....more a finesse guy than a mauler....has funky snap delivery (with nose pointing down)...Needs to become bigger and stronger....This draft's premier boom or bust dude due to injury situation... "...strong in the upper body but needs to add both bulk and strength to his lower body...should be able to start as a rookie at center or guard..." - PFW (Gabriel).

Forty: DNR...BP: 22...BJ: NA...3C: NA..SS: NA...

80 Austin Blythe 3 Iowa rSr 6020 291 4-5

"A rock"..."a techician"..."plays with natural knee bend."...Latest Kirk Ferentz project...short, squatty build with low COG (wins most leverage battles)...Overachiever who may be limited by frame...smart/seldom beaten off snap....impressive leg drive....good knee-bend....slides well....heavy hands...plays with some nastiness....smart and tough with sound technique...reliable snapper....wrestling champ...veratilebut has short arms and more straight-line quick than horizontally agile...a bit unsung, but pro ready...could be plug 'n play for a zone scheme.. ."...very consistent in pass protection, is alert for stunts and blitzes...has shorter arms..." - PFW (Gabriel).

forty: 5.36...BP: 29...BJ: 8-3...3C: 7.52...SS: .4.53..

120+ Evan Boehm 8 Missouri Sr 6020 309 5

Senior Bowl competitor...Not projected to be a clear cut starter in the pros, but could fit in well in a pro drive-blocking scheme...Stocky and strong but may already be close to maxing out his ability...Effort/grinder type whose work ethic and passion for the game makes up for athletic limitations...more of a mauler who doesn't fit the light, quick, agile mold of most pro centers....Another lineman who "looks like a Coke machine with arms."...relies more on brute strength than finesse....makes up for squat frame, short arms, lack of agility, slow-footednessand flat-footedness with brute toughness....experience with shotgun snaps should help his cause... "...has athletic limitation but overcomes them with his competitive nature...best in a zone scheme..." - PFW (Gabriel)

Forty: 5.33...BP: 24...BJ: 8-0...3C: 7.52...SS: 4.69...

120+ Mike Matthews 4 Texas A&M Sr 6-2 294 6-7

Good blood lines...Similar to brother Jake re mechanics only he plays with more energy.... "...tough, smart, tenacious and very competitive...quick off the ball...very alert in pass protection...size will work against him..." - PFW )Gabriel).

Forty: DNR..BP: NA....BJ: NA...3C: NA...SS: NA ...

120+ Matt Skura 5 Duke rSr 6030 329 7-FA

Smart guy but not especially athletic...Leaner than ideal/needs to add bulk....well-conditioned, bit of a waist-bender....assignment-sound..."moves with a plan"....not overwhelmingly powerful...could use hands better....more finesse than power in his game but has nice intangibles that should earn a place on a pro roster....

Forty: 5.39...BP: 27...BJ: 8-7...3C: 7.89...SS: .4.76..

120+ Marcus Henry 7 Boise State rSr 6-2 300 7-FA

Adequate build, decent techniques, quick off snap, aggressive hands...but has maxed out build and can't get by with power only...a bit of a lunger...could improve punch and hand placement....an effort-guy who's coachable but is limited physically.

Forty: DNR.....BP: NA....BJ: NA...3C: NA...SS: NA ...

120+ Jake Brendel 6 UCLA rSr 6-4 293 7-FA

Another blue-collar prospect...team leader...ideal fit for zone run game....must get stronger to control POA...Athletic, strong and tenacious....reliable in second season as UCLA center....

Forty: 5.01...BP: 25...BJ: 9-0...3C: 7.31...SS: 4.27...
